I see many favorable reviews for BMW Encinitas here, however, my experience has not been as pleasant. I have attempted to resolve an issue with my service contract for a month. I have called multiple times and even went in person to the dealership. Each time I was told the director would get back to me. Frustrating is an understatement. Still looking for resolution...

RecommendedI was in the market to purchase a couple of cars, a sedan for my wife and a truck for myself. BMW Enc is the only dealer that gave us the time of day. Salesmen from Carmax and other local BMW dealers seem to think that people who wear blue Jean's and flannel shirts don't own BMW's. Wrong, I have personally owned 4 BMW's, and currently own 2. Will be going back to BMW Enc for the next car. Thanks to Angelo and Tony you guys delivered.
I was promised a second key to my 2019 BMW X5 in June when I bought the car from BMW Encinitas. It's December now and the promised key has not arrived despite several emails and phone calls. Also during the finance transition I felt pressured by the sales associate to sign a paper that had increased the agreed upon price. When they tried to enforce the increase in price I almost walked away from the deal. It took more than 5 hours at the dealership, which was much longer than an auto purchase should take.☹️ Shame on you BMW ... read more
RecommendedI’ve been coming to BMW Encinitas for years, both for purchase and service of 4 or 5 of my 8 BMW’s over the years. I think they just continue to get better and better. Most recently I had an incredibly positive service experience with Skye, the Service director Matt, and the service tech Ivan. I had a warranty issue and maintenance due with my X3. They diagnosed it honestly, communicated well, listened to my concerns, and went over and above in getting everything fixed good as new. Thank you!
I have taken my X5 in two times for the same issue. The second time, there was a verbal commitment to get the repair done in three days. 10 days and several phone call later it was finally complete. I do not appreciate excuses....there were far too many from the service rep. In addition, it seems to me that the dealership is woefully understaffed in service.

RecommendedI have gone to this location for years starting back in the days when it was Harloff BMW, and at the time of the changeover I was concerned that it would change. It has not - if you work with the right service provider like Keith Sherman. Keith intrinsically gets what customer service excellence really is and practices it flawlessly. Ask for Keith and you will not be disappointed.
