What a fabulous afternoon we had with Ruth doing our very first stained glass taster workshop. For ourselves, not being artistic it was hard to believe that at the end of it we had these amazing pieces of artwork that looked so professional and really lovely. We were thrilled. Is this the best creative workshop in Sussex?! Quite possibly. I had the most amazing time crafting a stained glass artwork from scratch, in large part down to Ruth’s warm personality and exceptional teaching skills. The studio itself is nestled in a tranquil garden in the peaceful village of Rottingdean, where you can bring your design to life to the sound of birdsong. Bought the taster experience as a Christmas present for my Dad, and paid for myself to join him. We both had an amazing morning and thoroughly enjoyed ever part of it. Ruth was so welcoming and explained every part of the process, making sure we were comfortable with what we were doing. Ruth has created a calm but fun environment and we were so pleased with our creations. We had a fantastic taster workshop session with Ruth! Thoroughly enjoyed making our pieces and Ruth made it really easy to enjoy the entire process. Will definitely be booking again for round 2 :)
We had such a fab time with Ruth at Blue skies glass studios today! She taught us how to make incredible designs, was warm and welcoming. The studio is lovely, warm and has everything you could imagine in it. Ruth didn’t rush us at all and wanted to make sure our glass pieces came out perfectly.. and they did We look forward to coming back
