Hotel is clean and quiet. Has a good varity of breakfadt choices. Staff is great.
The hotel is clearly undergoing some refurbishment which didn't particularly affect guest accommodation, which was in need of updating but we found our room fairly clean. The staff were pleasant, but the service poor. The restaurant and bar was closed when we went for dinner because they had been busy the previous night. Nobody was informed, no signage, nothing. Blue Cypress Hotel & Convention Center your manager that was on duty around 5:30am 10/6/17 owes my mom Vesta Mitchell an apology she was stranded and called herself waiting in what she thought was a safe place in the lobby until her ride came. The manager in a very rude and nasty disposition told her to "GET OUT HIS HOTEL NOW" and accused her of lying when she told him she was waiting on a ride and to make matters worse he called the police on her. I will never stay at this hotel nor patronize any businesses associated with this hotel. my mom was stranded early morning 10/6/17 and was waiting in their lobby (what she thought was a safe place) until my father arrived to pick her up. The manager on duty was unnecessarily rude and nasty towards her telling her to "get out" even after she informed him she was waiting he accused her of lying being homeless and called the police.
