We recently took a 7 year old abandoned dog from the Blue Cross at Thirsk. We were very impressed with the efforts they had gone to to make the rehoming as trouble free as possible. The poor dog had obviously been traumatised at some point and had a few behavioural issues which the team at Thirsk had worked hard to correct. We were given lots of advice on how to continue with rehabilitation and given contact details for further support and advice.
