I never heard of this company until they called to claim that they owned my tank on a property that I had owned for three years. They claim a lifetime lease from 1971 from a previous owner, but wouldn't provide a copy of the lease since I wasn't a party to the lease contract. Everyone on the original 1971 lease is deceased, and the businesses no longer exist. When they installed the tank and I set everything up I told them to call before coming. Our dogs are sometimes out back, I work from home and I should not be taken by surprise but that has never happened. This morning someone showed up at 6:45am ringing the doorbell. We bought our fireplace insert from this company and have them install it a year ago. We were very happy with their service. We are not happy with the ongoing service that we get in relation to making an appointment they were supposed to be here this morning and I called the office to ask at about what time they would think they would be here!! We highly recommend Palmetto Gas! We had a minor (but potentially costly) problem with a gas leak (outside) and they not only responded quickly but made it right and made sure we were 100% taken care of. The staff was not only friendly but highly professional! We’ve been using their company for years and will continue to do so! 😊🙌
