We’ve loved this place since first visiting more than a year ago. The mahi tacos (not on current menu) were the best in Indy but everything on the menu is always excellent. The chef puts together amazing dishes, beers and cocktails too! Will always try to eat here when I’ve left Indy and come back to visit. 🙌🏻🦉🍻
The Mac & cheese. I would like to know when they will have it back in the menu? The Cajun is amazing.
Went to celebrate a birthday after the long Covid interruption (still happening!) and was severely disappointed in the "new" menu. The Calamari appetizer is no longer on the menu and this was by far, the best on the list for its taste, presentation and price. This Calamari could by itself carry the place! Why management would remove something from the menu that had my kids begging to go to The Blind Owl is beyond me. The waitress even agreed she was disappointed it was gone. Thanks for the feedback, Ted. The food menu you would have seen on your last visit isn't a "new" menu, it is a limited menu that was created in correspondence to COVID-19 regulations and practices. Our menus had to be single-use according to Marion County guidelines when we re-opened, so we had to scale our menu to a size that we could affordably print in-house in black and white to cut the cost of ink.
