RecommendedI had the PRK procedure done on both eyes. The staff was fantastic, and the Doctors were excellent. I should have had this done years ago. I would recommend the Lasik team at Black Hills Regional Eye Institute to anybody interested in vision correction. Thank you for the excellent results.

I just had LASIK yesterday. The nurses made it super easy for me especially because I was super anxious. The surgery was so fast and Dr. Khachikian was awesome. He talked through out the surgery so I knew what was happening. There was mild burning for about 3 hours after surgery and then it subsided. By that night I was able to keep my eyes open with no scratchy ness or pain and a tinge of blurry ness. The next day my eyes were back to normal, and I already noticed a difference in my vision. I had LASIK done last week and it is the greatest thing! I cannot believe how clearly I can see, and it’s supposed to just keep getting better as my eyes heal! I had a pretty significant correction and it’s been the best decision! Thank you Black Hills Eye Institute!

If you need surgery, lasik ect. Only option in Rapid City. For everyday needs or emergency situations, highly disappointing and overpriced.
My parents receive eye care treatment at BHREI and I just recently received PRK and they have the best staff who are so caring and genuine.
