Had a great LASIK experience. Everything was explained very well and the technicians are extremely friendly and helpful and keep you relaxed before the surgery. The procedure was quick, painless and Dr. K is clearly a seasoned pro that keeps you at ease through the process.

Just had ilasik done yesterday and it was the quickest and easiest procedure done by far. Not only did Dr. Schirber and Dr. Spencer make the surgery and days prior seamless, but the surgery and process was quick as well. They answered all my questions, their staff was friendly and knowledgeable and it was just beyond simple. Thanks so much!
My partner had a full thickness corneal laceration. We called ahead to let the Eye Institute know we were coming from Spearfish. The staff stayed open an hour late to perform emergency surgery. Despite the hour, the nurses and anesthetist acted like he was the first patient of the day. The surgeon on call, Dr. Jorgenson, was brilliant. 6 months later, Joel has near perfect vision again. If they hadn't stayed open for us, and if Dr. Jorgenson hadn't been on call, he may have lost his sight in that eye. Thanks Black Hills Eye ... read more
