Being less than 24 hours since my surgery I can already say it was so worth it! The first 8 hours for me was very painful and I was sleeping every minute I wasn’t putting drops in my eyes. At my follow up appointment The next day I already have 20/20 vision. Dr. Schirber and Vannessa stood out to me as extremely kind and knowledgeable staff!
Had surgery in may 2019, the insurance company was slow with processing but they did not charge me my 2500 deductible and to date Black Hills Eye still has not refunded my deductible.
RecommendedI had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very nice and answered all my questions. I was not surprised by anything. The doctors and staff explained what I was going to go through very well. From the consultation all the way through the surgery. There was no surprises at all. I would recommend Black Hills Eye Institute to anyone of my friends and family.
Quick and easy. Really professional staff know what they're doing and explain everything clearly. Would recommend to anyone who is thinking about get lasik done or any other type of eye surgery.
Amazing staff and wonderful experience!!
Everyone was so caring and and patient answering my billion questions. They had lots of things to keep me calm and comfortable before and during my procedure: a relaxing room with massage chair, a teddy bear to hold on to during procedure to keep my mind off the pressure and not being able to blink, as well as Dr. K explaining to me what he was doing every step of the way. The experience as a whole was great! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The staff were all friendly, informative and attentive.
