I have complicated eyes and was a bit nervous getting further treatment. During cataract surgery and treatment afterwards, I was very reassured by what felt like total focus on my eyes during the procedures. Thank you Dr. K

I have used BHREI for my eye care since 2009, from the time I had a detached retina till my recent cataract surgeries. My care has been professional and courteous, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking first class treatment.
I just want to thank BHREI for doing a outstanding job. This was the first surgery i have had to have in my life. So i was really scared. But when i got there today they made me feel like i was at home an made shur i knew excatly what they were doing when they were doing it. Thanks doctor Speencer an your team....
I am 3 months post PRK and it was the best decision I could have made. Dr Schirber has been fantastic. I love that I can wake up and see in the morning. The staff was all very informative and friendly which made the process so easy. The actual surgery portion was fast and painless.

My husbands surgery was just yesterday. The surgical staff is great, by I have a problem with the after care instructions. At 5:30 we were handed a prescription to fill and made it to the pharmacy 10 minutes before they closed. I could have had it filled in the 3 hours I was waiting. We're then told he should sleep in a recliner for a week which was a problem for me because I had to reconfigure a room. I am so happy to finally get Lasik surgery. The doctors and staff have been amazing! They answered every question I had and made the experience a great one. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering the surgery to go with Black Hills Regional Eye Institute.
My appointment was cancelled due to medical leave of one doctor. The staff got me in with another doctor right away. Needless to say I didn't have to wait long and make a return trip on another day.
The staff were very friendly, the services they provide are amazing! I had a great experience and I referred my friend who is now excited to also come receive services!
I have absolutely loved every minute of my PRK experience at BHREI. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and competent - which helped me feel at ease and comfortable with my decision. I would highly recommend BHREI to anybody considering having a Lasik or PRK procedure.
