Went to Alton memorial for a flu test. They performed other unneeded tests and xrays to run up bill. Took 5 months to get them to fix. Never even saw doctor but got a bill from him. Made payments on bill while they were getting it fixed and they sent it to collection anyway. Worst care and support and billing staff ever! Had another family member get a procedure done in Belleville. That they billed through. No took them 6 months to bill insurance and send me a surprise bill 6 months later. Horrible network!
RecommendedAmazing experience. Had surgery with a little hiccup on the billing end but La Donna fixed my entire situation leaving me with no balance to pay! :)
I was blocked from entering my place of work at BARNES JEWISH HOSPITAL CAB Building. The man followed me and demanded that I needed to prove that I worked there, he even went as far as calling for security. When I told my supervisor of this harassment and discrimination 1 day later I was released from the job. Within that day of me telling my supervisor she begin assaulting me, telling me I was costing the company money because of where I parked. I strongly advise you not to use Bjc Home care I worked for this company for 11 years and after I transferred to PWH the job didn't work out. was wanting to come back to home care and was told I couldn't because I didnt inform management that I was transferring to another department within BJC. Management is horrible at this corporation.
I would strongly recommend that no one work for BJC Behavioral Health so I can only imagine that the behavioral health reflects the whole company and Behavioral Health they just tried to give people who made mistakes Second Chances however if an employee make a mistake and it's so call violates their standards they're dismissed sometimes this is necessary but then sometimes it's not is unfortunate but then again they are conglomerate dollars first
This is a terrible hospital. Multiple visits for surgeries and there's always scheduling problems with the staff. Incompetence.

A good friend just had a quadruple bypass at Barnes, last month. Excellent care from everyone there; he is doing great! Dr. Puja Kachroo was the surgeon, did a superior job!!!
BJC has huge problems, be aware of being billed multiple times for same services. I am still trying to figure out my bills after many calls etc. They even sent one of my bills to a credit company which I had to pay. Beware.
