My sister who has gracefully been battling stage 4 lung cancer for the past 18 months was admitted d to the ICU on 7/30/15 with pneumonia and had fluid on one of her lungs that had to be drained. I went to visit her on 8/1/15 from 11:30 am to 1 pm. The staff that were assigned to provide her with care were absolutely horrible!!! She requested a coughing pillow to help reduce the discomfort in her chest and it took 26 hours to get one for her and that was after having to raise my voice. i sat on the phone for 90 minutes waiting for someone in Dr. Herleth's office to pick it up and assist me. Finally out of frustration and disbelieve, I went to Doctors on Demand website and had my prescription and talked with a doctor within seconds. Doctors on Demand was a wonderful experience. BJC Healthcare!!!!! NOT SO MUCH!!!!
Simply the best
I would like to thank Dr. Matthew Powell and his team for their excellent care they gave me during my week long stay in the hospital (BJC - Oncology 17th floor.) And to all the nurses and techs, you were all so kind, patient, funny and truly made my stay in the hospital bearable (and thank you for allowing my family to stay with me the entire time.) BJC's Staff is awesome!
I love every thing about it,except the Emergency room
