I just got off the phone with Dr. Shiraz Daud the doctor I saw at Missouri Baptist last week for shortness of breath. I was trying to get the notes I had been recording for the previous three weeks of my blood pressure, temp and blood sugar so they would have something to work with. Leaked my info and all they can say is to watch my statements. I now pay for my own monitoring because companies like this can’t keep my personal info safe.
BJC furloughed my Psychologist AFTER setting up Zoom as an alternative to in person appointments. I have tried to lodge a complaint for over four weeks, but no one seems to know who I should talk to (convenient?). It gives the appearance that BJC considers mental health to be nonessential, and that dollars are more important than patients.
I worked there for decades. I finally retired as an ICU RN. If you are somewhat sick, go to any hospital. If you are gravely ill, go to BJC.

I recommend their services I had tests at Mo Baptist but their unstable billing employees are a deficit to society. I received a bill 10 days ago,paid and check cashed March 31st. This morning a person who turned out to be second party biller started asking me personal information without explaining #issue. What is REALLY sad is the zero tobacco tolerance policy in place regarding your your health care providers! My sister who smokes, is an N.P. and hasn't been able to find work because BJC has bought up every health care facility in St Francois county Missouri!!! 3 months without nicotine before emplyment?!? Even if its the patch?!?! What a JOKE. Mercy is just as bad... especially at a time like this, we need ALL HANDS ON DECK! PLEASE RECONSIDER THIS POLICY! ESPECIALLY NOW! *COVID 19*
My grandson was born at Alton Memorial and the staff was the best. Great care wonderful facility!
