Can't tell you how disappointed I was with all of my Christmas baking this year. The buttery sticks just do not work for baking and I ruined a lot of baked goods which was costly in terms of ingredients used. I now must find a margarine that contains 100% fat because the watery stuff just does not work. Why didn't you continue with the old product and try the new stuff on a different label. It just does not work anymore. 5
i hate the new formula ... you have lost the only 5 other families i have talked to about this
Been using Nucoa for over 40 years and have loved all the great cooking and taste qualities it had. When we lived places that did not have it we had it shipped to us by family. Don't know what we are going to do without it. The new stuff leaves wax on everything it touches. Just think what it is doing to your GI track. Bring back the old Nucoa and take back that nnnnnnasty counterfeit.
I agree with those protesting the change in Nucoa margarine. My cookies do not taste the same and neither do the substitutes that I have tried. Where can I find the original Nucoa? I have been using Nucoa for over 50 years. I have a regular diet but I prefer Nucoa for cooking and baking.
Please bring back the old Nucoa! It was the only non-butter product that worked properly in my holiday baking recipes. I have 3 pounds that I won't use! You have lost me as a customer, along with everyone who asks me why I am not giving them fudge for Christmas this year!
I thought it was just me,please bring the old stick margarine back. I thought it changed, but I knew for sure when I tried to make cookies which I make every year they tasted horrible, I made the batch three times and still was horrible tasting. I tried making chex mix and I agree with the other person the margarine wouldn't even melt. I have used this for years. Please bring the good margarine back.
I knew something was wrong when 4 batches of caramel corn wound up in the garbage at Halloween. Decided to do some research and found there are many others like me who are disappointed in the formula change. Please, please, please bring back the original Nucoa margarine
I'd put zero stars if I could. I've been baking with Nucoa for 30 years and could always count on consistent, tasty results. Now my cookies taste "off" and the dough is much too soft. The extruded, folded sticks look like they haven't been mixed thoroughly. I bake 5-6 types of Christmas cookies every year for my husband's clients and this year's cookie trays are an embarrassment! I also bake 4 loaves of bread every week for my family and they are coming out , too. Whoever made the decision to change the margarine recipe and ... read more
We loved Nucoa, but not anymore. We have severe dairy allergies in our family and my daughter and were getting quite sick these last two weeks. We could not figure it out. We make everything from scratch - what could it be???? Who would have thought that Nucoa would change their ingredients and NOT put a label on it. I actually held up a new box and and "REAL" Nucoa box and they were almost identical. Gone was the "No Dairy", but same exact box except for the Real Margarine now said Buttery Sticks. Just the name is disgustin... read more
