The new reformulated NUCOA is a bust! What a poor decision! I've always bought NUCOA in the past but will no longer buy it! Whoever's idea this was should be fired!
The Nuccoa buttery sticks are a total disaster. My wife made a batch of cookies with the buttery sticks which were prompty thrown away. She did make one batch of frosting using the buttery sticks for our granddaughters birthday cake, which she also promptly threw away. No cookies! No frosted cakes! The new Nuccoa is just like the "New Coke" fiasco. Maybe you need to give consumers a choice. Put buttery sticks next to margarine and let us decide. A world without my wife's cookies is, well, like a disaster.
I have been using Nucoa brand margarine in sticks and tubs for years, since my daughter can not have dairy. When you changed the packaging no one in the family likes it. Guess it is time to find a different option. Please let me know when you change it back. Why did you change it in the first place.
All of the reviews that I read could have been written by me. I kept thinking Nucoa suddenly tastes like tinted Crisco. I have used Nucoa for years. I don't get why a company would "fix" something that wasn't broken. I will have to look for a new margarine to use because this tastes terrible.
My family has used Nucoa margarine for over 4 generations and it would have continuee if you hadn't messed it up! My family and myself find this NEW product DISGUSTING. It tastes awful, doesn't melt and does not perform the same in baking. If you want to make something different, make a NEW product and see if IT sells, don't change the one that everyone already loves. BRING BACK ORIGINAL NUCOA.
Please bring back the old Nucoa margarine. The new formulation is not nearly as good for baking, and the "buttery" taste is terrible. If I want butter, I will use butter. I have always baked with Nucoa, but I will not buy it anymore unless the old Nucoa margarine is brought back. I am very disappointed with this change, especially with no warning. What were you thinking? This new Nuccoa is horrible! You had a great product and now you have garbage! It doesn't melt, it has a waxy consisitancy, and it's tasteless. I have used Nuccoa for 40 years, but no more. At the very least you should have kept the original for those of us who want real margerine, and offered this other thing to those who are looking for something healthier. I'VE BEEN USING NUCOA AND LOVING IT FOR FORTY YEARS, I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER CUBE UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL. IT IS DISGUSTING!!!!!
I want the Nucoa Real Margarine back! The butter is disgusting and tastes likes oil. PLEASE BRING BACK THE REAL MARGARINE!
