In the Portland area, Nucoa Buttery Sticks replaced the old Nucoa Margerin on store shelves. Within a month the Nucoa Buttery Sticks disappeard from the store shelves. What is the manufacturer thinking?

i noticed at thanksgiving my nucoa on the plate looked different. family wanted to no what i did to the nucoa, it wouldn't melt,it tasted greasy. at christmas more complaints. googled nucoa and found out what the problem was. you've lost at least 6 more families.

Was raised on Nucoa, raised my family on it. Loved the flavor and cooking with it. What is this new formula other than a giant mistake. Melts wierd, tastes wierd (like biting into wax), actually ruined some of the holiday baking. If I was overly concerned about a little extra fat or whatever I think I could take care of it myself. Nucoa wasn't broken, but it definitely is now. Won't be buying it anymore unless you bring back the original.

Is the new Nucoa supposed to be environmentally friendly? Politically correct? Whatever may be the reason for the change, it surely wasn't to please customers. I took back three packages which were unopened to get my money back. It ruined a big batch of cookies made for Christmas gifts. They tasted so bad, even my Boxer dog would not eat them. That's a pretty bad commentary from a dog who has been on a diet for four months. I am going back to butter and coconut oil for baking.

0 stars for changing the formula to less healthy ingrediantes. I have been using the old formula for years and loved it. I will not buy the new buttery sticks

I too, have noticed that it just doesn't melt when I add it to my son's very warm mashed potatoes or hot corn. Kept thinking, "what's the deal?" But now....now I can't even find it in my local grocery stores here in Tacoma/Federal Way WA. Had to find something else. We'll see how that works.

From the time I was born I have been a nucoa margarine consumer. When I went to the market earlier this week I didn't even take a second glance at the box, as I saw nucoa. When i got home to bake cookies I saw the color and texture was different and thought that was odd. Boy was I in for a surprise, this product as the other people have stated does not taste good, nor does it melt properly. I am extremely disappointed in the change and would like them to bring back the old wonderful nucoa margarine. I am returning the "butte... read more

We have used the tub of Nucoa Margarine for many years. We are very disappointed to suddenly find this to be unavailable. We tried the "sticks" and again were disappointed to find it to be totally different. Please bring back the old Nucoa.

I as everyone else grew up and has used Nucoa forever. I made sugar cookies today. They have no taste. They are pretty much just dough with an old grease after taste!! I made chocolate chip cookies and had to use an extra cup of flower just to firm up the doe. They still didn't tasete good!! My mashed potatoes don't taste the same either, I have to add more salt to make them taste better. This is not fair!!!! The bummer is there isn't another stick margarine, or should I say "vegetable oil spread" as it is now called that ca... read more
