Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. On weekends, diners can enjoy cocktails in its piano bar, or for a change of pace, take part in its acclaimed Mystery Theater.

Excellent food! Honest, helpful workers. Fun ambiance. Great selection of wine.
Always Great! Have been going over 20 years and have always had a great experience. Wonderful staff, and great food who could ask for more? Love this place
Hostess and waitress were quite helpful and accommodating Food was very good. I just read some of the reviews below and feel I was at a different restaurant. No manager stopped by to see how we were doing & the bartender was more interested in the other patrons to spend any time with us let alone recommending a wine.
Business response:
Thank you for visiting Bistro Romano. Delighted to hear you enjoyed your dinner yet disappointed to read about our mangers and bar team. I don't see a reservation in your name for contact info to call you therefore I will private msg you to follow up. I look forward to speaking with you; our apologies.

Super romantic, reminds me of being back in Italy and the old wine cellars ♥️
The staff was great but the food and drinks were below average.
Great birthday celebration with able assistance of Florian who helped make our food choices and get us out in time to make our movie at the Ritz. Pillow soft gnocchi, Chicken Milanese, plus semifreddo and carrot cake for dessert were all outstanding. House Merlot was definitely to my liking. Thanks!
Just moved to Philadelphia, and I can tell this is going to be my new favorite place. Florian is such an excellent server, and George is the best manager ever! The linguine with claims had me just about falling over, not to mention the side farrotto.
