Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. On weekends, diners can enjoy cocktails in its piano bar, or for a change of pace, take part in its acclaimed Mystery Theater.

Great place. People are super. Food outstanding. Beautiful old time feel Restaurant. Great spot for all occasions. Pay your meter parking authority out in force hammering everyone. Poor for city image.
My husband and I had a fabulous date night here on our first visit. We had the salumeria plate with cheese, followed by goat cheese tortelloni, duck breast, fillet mignon, and creme brulee. We enjoyed piano music in the beautiful bar area, with excellent service and romantic atmosphere. We will definitely come back to enjoy more of their exquisite dinner courses in the future.
My husband and I went for dinner, had drinks at the bar with a very friendly bartender, we enjoyed the meal very much, still savoring the taste of the spaghetti bolognese, enjoyed the atmosphere, nice waitress, would go back!
Loved the atmosphere, drinks and food. Bartender made a nice drink. I had the filet and caesar salad. Delicious.
Business response:
Super & thanks. Happy New Year!
Everything was absolutely wonderful-from the service to the food and even the atmosphere. Definitely would recommend to a friend and definitely coming back!
AsIde from the food being delicious and the amazing bottle of wine, we had wonderful service. Staff accommodated me with my broken foot and crutches...they set a table in the bar area for us and When we ordered a Caesar salad for two, I didn’t realize they were going to have to carry the entire salad cart up the flight of stairs! I hope to be back soon and make it to the beautiful dining room downstairs!!
I attended the murder mystery dinner, it was a nice cozy room. The actors / waiters were great. The food was good, maybe would prefer more options but what we had was good. The show was very entertaining, great and enjoyed the actors. Pretty cool
