Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. On weekends, diners can enjoy cocktails in its piano bar, or for a change of pace, take part in its acclaimed Mystery Theater.

Phenomenal food and even better wait staff! If you have Florian serving you, you're gonna have an excellent evening!
Our waiter "Flo" was amazing! He was super friendly & extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thx for an awesome experience!
If you're in Philly, you must get to Bistro Romano. Excellent food, sublime beverages, fantastic service, and beautiful atmosphere. At the bar, Sean prepared our drinks expertly and included a side of history about the bar and building. Our waiter, Florian, was knowledgeable, professional, and fun. The menu is varied and original and Florian gave us thorough information on a variety of dishes, which made difficult choices easier. Anthony, the GM and sommelier, pointed us to the perfect bottle of wine and, later, a to-die-for... read more
Best Restaurant in Philly! From the greeting at the door, to the bartender whom made my Smoked Old Fashioned, to Florian our waiter in the dining room who exposed us to several fantastic culinary triumphs and to top it off Anthony the GM/SOM who recommended the greatest Super Tuscan Red blend and topped our night off with his homemade Peach-Vanillacello digestvi! We will be back and we will bring only close friends because it is that great! Jim from Annapolis
