Bishop's Waltham Palace is a fantastic historical landmark that offers a great window into the region's rich heritage. It is genuinely nice to see such old places still standing so remarkably well after hundreds of years, with the impressive stone walls and remaining grand archways giving you a real sense of the scale and grandeur the palace once held in its prime. Absolutely beautiful place to visit. My family & I love coming here. It's very peaceful & simply stunning to look at with plenty of benches to sit around & have a picnic. It's well looked after & has a lovely huge tree that provides you with shade in the summer months.

Bijzondere plek waarbij wel duidelijk is hoe belangrijk en machtig de bisschoppen destijds waren. Ohja, we hadden moeite om de auto te parkeren voor langere tijd. Achteraf bleek dat we de auto gewoon bij de ingang neer hadden kunnen zetten.
