It’s looking run down now used to be beautiful!
I’m a Marriott Platinum Elite member & used my points for this stay. They switched me from the room I reserved (king) to a 2 double bed room & then when we went to check in at 3:30pm they didn’t have a king room available & had to wait 45 minutes. Then after leaving our baggage with the concierge / luggage they hadn’t brought our luggage to our room in 30min. Cozy and comfortable. Feeling like at home
I recently spent two days at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. The lobby area is beautiful and the view is the bay is gorgeous. EVERYTHING else about this hotel was a disappointment. You can tell the hotel is older and in need of upgraded. The rooms are mediocre. I can appreciate the affordable prices in the restaurant though. But, as a gold, almost platinum, elite member I am most disappointed in the customer service. The clerk put in the wrong exp date of or my charge card, tried to charge my card 15 times ( card denied bc of wrong date), paged me at dinner, after they put in correct date I went to my room and found I was locked out. Had security come open my door tried to get on internet found they locked me out of that. This has been a trip from hell
