I’ve had a great experience at Birchwood Ford recently. I reserved a car on the Sunday and had an email from Phil that same day, booking me in for a test drive and appointment on the Monday. Despite advising of what I suspected the issue to be, I don’t believe that this was even looked at. I explained that there was a knocking/thumping noise coming from the front offside and suspected the hydro engine mount as there was dried oil on top of it and it was extremely spongy. As fair as I’m aware the bonnet wasn’t even opened or the mount looked at! To then be advised that the vehicle would need to be rebooked in for another two hours worth of investigation work!
