Walked in, lone woman in my 40s interested in a mtb. Two monosyllabic men behind the counter, when I described a bike I'd seen and liked and asked if they had anything similar the answer was just "no". Not "no, but what kind of riding will you do?" or "no, but have you thought about trying XYZ?" just no. I stood there feeling awkward and embarrassed for about 30 seconds and then just left. Awful, never felt so unwelcome in a shop. Thankfully their competitors over in Staveley are lovely and much friendlier.
Helped partner and I in a time of need. Needed Di2 charger for road bikes, offered to charge. Very nice people in the store, very knowledgeable and helpful. Purchased a MTB seat and SPD pedals while in there. They have a high end selection of bikes, and alot of spares for MTB and road which I wish I'd have known about sooner on previous trips. Lovely, will return.
Excellent store helpful staff,top quality products. Purchased a bike late last year calling again soon! Coffee shop close to hand.
Arrogant, rude and condescending staff with extremely poor back up service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. They don't deserve the 1 star.
