Awful park.Lost food tickets,injuries every single time we visit.Poor service.Will not be going back.
While on our first family trip to Destin we decided to try out Big Kahuna. First off I appreciate any business that gives military/LE/ and FF discounts. Our family loves water parks and commonly visits Dollywood Splash Country in Tennessee. Overall Big Kahuna is fun for all ages. There definitely could be some renovations done to a few sections of the park and at least one set of restrooms. Our main complaint was the food service. We had a wonderful experience. What we liked: clean restrooms, constant people cleaning the park, a band, attentive lifeguards, decent food prices, lots of food options, tons of activities, tons of kiddie areas. What could have been better: Quicker service at food area and more dining area seating. Overall we were so impressed and wouldn't hesitate to pay to go again.

Overall it was a positive experience, but I was amazed to see multiple rides closed (4-6) and pretty much only the food court amenities open. Seriously at $40+ per person for the day (we had a party of 8) you would THINK that the park would be fully functioning at the height of the season. It was 'OK' but not good. If I could do 2.5 stars I would.
I have went to park last few years and this year is the worst 2 big rides shut down and it's been weeks not like it just happened and other things shut down. I go get a refill on my drink and 3 machines are supossbly shut down and everyone had to go to one line that's about stupid I will not buy seasons passes again bc it's not being maintained I have bought 4 season passes 4 out of 5 years.
