3 of the main rides was shut down and for the price we paid for 6 people, advance notice should have been given. The food was cold so we sent it back. In my opinion, the entrance fee is so overpriced. Nevertheless, the kids had fun.
I love how friendly the staff is here. They are always willing to help if you need anything. This is the best fun spot in Destin. A season pass makes it all the worth. No matter where your located in the pan handle, if you live in Crestview and work on base, it's worth getting a season pass to enjoy this park anytime you're down that way.
I hate to see all the bad reviews. Our experience this weekend was amazing! We had a blast. The staff were great and the park was in better condition then I read in all the nasty comments on this site.
I'm from Mobile, AL and this is my first time coming to Big Kahunas and I had so much fun! I will definitely be back this summer
I came to the Big Kahuna's water park a few years back and it was awesome! This go around I brought my out of town friend and it was absolutely awful. The staff at the entrance acted like they didn't know what they were doing and 3 big rides were closed. The Honolulu half pipe, rhino river or thunder river (can't remember which one) and Jumanji. Our Family has gone to Big Kahunas for years. We all enjoy every visit. We always get the annual passes for $50 and you can go as many times throughout the summer. We've always had a good experience there and left with so many memories.
I AM A LOCAL & HAD SEASON PASSES 2 SUMMERS AGO (2014) & MY SON WON TICKETS THIS PAST SUMMER (2015) OFF A LOCAL RADIO STATION. WE WILL NEVER, EVER, RETURN TO THIS DISGUSTING PLACE AGAIN. DIRTY & FILTHY, NOT TO MENTION, I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED THIS PAST SEASON WHEN YOU SPENT MONEY ON A NEW SLIDE, WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN KEEP UP WITH THE REFURBISHING & PAINTING OF THE SLIDES YOU ALREADY HAVE!!!!
