We went there for the first time today and was very disappointed, paid almost 90.00 to get in and left after 45 minutes. People that worked there were very rude, several of the slides were not even running, and we were able to ride 2 slides in 45 minutes. Was a complete waste of time.
I enjoyed it other than the overly exspensive food and lockers, lack of water slides for kids under 36 or 42 inches, and rude lifeguards.
Big Kahuna's management is very generous and genuinely cares about their local community. You're appreciated
We went on 7/23/16 and the park was just horrible. It's not well kept... There was mold on the rides and the bathrooms were disgusting. The employees were rude and unfriendly. There were more rides shutdown than there were open. It was just a disappointing experience that we paid good money for. I used to love coming here but I haven't been in a few years and I'm just upset that I spent money and drove over an hour to leave only an hour after we got there.
The life guards need more training or at least have a heart. My mom went down a slide and somehow bent her thumb backwards. She thought she broke it, but we think it is just severely sprained. She got to the bottom of the slide and got to the sidewalk. My son was on the slide behind her. She told him she didn't feel good and thought she was going to pass out. My son ran to get the lifeguard. He said she is fixing to pass out. The life guard said ok. He never walked the 10 feet to check on her. He never did anything. She fell... read more
Horrible experience. We got there sat our bag down and it started lightening so had to get out. it was my families last day in Florida and they refused to give us our money back only tickets for another day. we live 12 hours away and had to leave the next day...so we wasted $154.00....and they didn't care. I will never go back there or recommend this place to anyone. we come to Destin every summer and this is the only place who we have ever had a bad experience with.

Hi Marissa. As you know we can't control the weather. We understand that the weather hit us early today. We ended up waiting for about 1:45 minutes to get the attractions reopened. Unfortunately it is just part of the Florida experience. One great advantage for everyone after a weather event like this is that there aren't any lines at the attractions!
I been 4 times total haven't been since 2012 went this past weekend very disappointed that the price is still 40+ a person they don't even bother to tell you the slides are closed lazy river to The back was kind of nasty cracks in it a few slides we were cut on it used to be my all time favorite I hope they fix it
Most slides were shut down and have been shut down for several years.
