I was not impressed with getting food or drinks. Stood in line for 45 minutes to an hour for a drink. We had purchased a special cup and I don't think I should have to wait in line. Lots of stairs to maneuver. Walk area was scalding hot. I did buy a season pass. They should let you bring food in if you want to because they don't have a lot of choices and the helpers are very unorganized!!!!
First time visitors; the slides, lazy river and wave pool were good, not very long waiting time for rides; however, way too many steps to get to anywhere, food was horrible and way too expensive and the workers at the concession were, to put it nicely, not motivated at all. Honestly first and last time.
We had a blast. All the staff was pretty rude starting in the guest services building. We sat near the pirate ship and the cashiers that took our order at the food counter downstairs and at the upstairs counters were very rude.
We went here yesterday it was my first time going & we bought season passes for our family... we had a blast my 3 year old enjoyed the kiddie side & my husband & 2 boys loved the slides.. the employees were very friendly & helpful.. I can’t wait to go back :)
My family and I absolutely love this place!!! Every year we vacation in Destin, FL, A stop at Big Kahunas is always planned!! Largest waterpark I’ve seen, staff are great, plenty of lifeguards at every attraction, lockers at many different places, plenty of kiddie areas so no need to worry about small ones
Park was clean and all of the rides were open, but the staff could use some customer service lessons. Also it was crazy expensive to get into the park and food was overpriced for what you got. It took us 30minutes to get a pizza and French fries. We only got to spend 2 hours there because the park shut down due to weather, which I know that is something you cannot control, but had the prices been a little cheaper and the customer service been great, our experience might have been a little better. I like the kids they are so nice
The slides were fun, the park relatively clean, and plenty of chairs & tables. The tubes for some slides and the lazy river were not blown up very well and too many were left in the lazy river. I felt there wasn’t enough structure or responsibile staff. The wait to get a drink was outrageous and there seemed to be a lot of socializing among the employees with no urgency to keep the line moving. Definitely do not regret buying season passes. We have already been 4-5 times and plan on going a lot more before school starts back.
