We have season passes and enjoy the park, but they need to put down a different surface for walking, as the paths are burning hot. And it always takes forever for food. Maybe a separate line for drink refills? And have food already hot and cooked. You cannot bring any food in, so they know everyone will need to order lunch there. There must be a better system.
Place has went down the shitter after purchasing 14 season passes and rented 2 cabanas that was super small side by side. Was let down by that. Next we spent 6 hrs trying to get a tube before we found one then I carried it to my cabana to grab a drink and some little girl on staff came and stole it from us stating we can't keep in cabana after I explained I was trying to get a drink. I had a big problem, there are not enough floats in the water park. We had to wait 45 minutes to get floats. You should have more floats. You should not have to wait to get a float to ride the rides that require a float. You should just be able to grab one and go. You pay a lot of money, to get in the park to just wait a long time to get a float.
I drove three hours from MS to do somethings in Destin for the day. I Ordered my tickets online. Never received a confirmation email. Get there and I have to see a supervisor at guest services to get my tickets. Which might I add was no Problem. They were able to find me in the system. But then once it came time to do rides in the park. There were absolutely no tubes. Zero. There were people waiting around everywhere for tubes. We came for a family vacation and stop here first, my children all 6 of them had a blast. They didn’t want to leave. Thanks for a great time 🎊❤️
My family and I had a great time but as everyone else giving reviews has said, there aren't enough tubes for everyone. We spent our first hour at the park trying to find a tube for each of our kids (no easy task since we have 6 children) Also, the walkways are blistering hot. I highly recommend water shoes especially for small children and those with tender feet. On a positive note... The park itself was beautiful and had lots of fun rides! Very unfriendly staff. I came across 2 lifeguards that were actually friendly and communicated with us. Food court staff has terrible manners as well. About 6-7 people in line waiting to order food when the cashier decided to close the stand. No warning, no heads up just had us all waiting there until we couldn’t be served. At least serve the customers who were there waiting for 10 + mins, then close your stand. The admission price was not worth the experience we had.
