I am only giving 3 stars because the park was nice but for the amount of money that is paid to get into the park on top of parking and renting a locker. I would’ve expected move slides to have been open for uses. We did enjoy the day it was our first time visiting, the staff was great, very helpful and friendly.
Lazy river had lots of trees and dirt in it. Also waited 30 minutes for a hotdog and some popcorn shrimp. It should never take 30 minutes for fried food, especially when you are already starving. We bought a free refill souvenir cup and the lady told us to scan either mine or my fiancé season card, said it didn’t matter which one, so we scanned his. Afterwards she said, now you have to use his card in order to get free refills and he has to be here. So obviously it DOES matter which card to scan for the cup. I will be going ... read more
Business response:
I do apologize for your negative experience you had and it will be addressed in our next managers meeting
It's fun for kids and parents alike. Refreshing and exciting- although I'm not sure why some rides are closed or roped off. My third time getting season passes that is a ridiculous process. You would think season pass purchases would be rewarded- but you get punished instead by having to wait in line for an hour after the park opens to get your passes, because they're out of ink blah blah. I paid months ago - let us send our selfie in and send us the passes ahead of time for God's sake!
Business response:
I completely understand your frustration and we are continuing to try and figure the best system possible to expedite the process
I've been visiting Big Kahuna's Water Park several times a year for over 20 years and love it. I've seen many changes, some ups and downs, but it has always one of my favorite water parks to visit on the Gulf Coast. We just visited yesterday 5/5/2018 and the park and restrooms were very clean, they have new automated lockers which are very simple to use, the staff was seemed to be trained very well for safety, the water temperature was perfect. We bought a 2018 season passes at the end of the 2017 season and got a really goo... read more
New Ownership has added value to the park! Looking forward to using our Season Pass this year.
Food was poor, waited 15 minutes for a corn dog that they told me was cooking but when I got it, the thing was I've cold. My son road one of the slides got water up his nose and was coughing and crying and lifeguard just watched him no concern. Golf was dirty and nasty and no one there when we walked up. Had to search for someone to help us.
Business response:
I am very sorry to hear of your experience with us. It is our number one priority to ensure our guest have a great experience with us. I will definitely pass the word on to those departments so they can get your feed back, and if you would like as a sincere apology from us, message me, and I can send you some comp tickets for golf.
Love the place but the only thing is the hot concrete I will be going in the future keep up the good work big kahuna
I brought 3 of my kids, ages 13,12,11 on Sunday for the first time. There were no lines for the water slides and kids seemed to have a good time for about 2 hours. The lines to get refills and food took between 20-40 minutes which was ridiculous since the park was hardly full. Some of the life guards were rude and had bad attitudes. The lazy river was dirty and had all kinds of leafs, bugs and trash in it. Some of the slides were closed due to remodeling. We bought passes for the first time and will probably never buy them a... read more
