I had the 6 oz. brisket sandwich (with the Alabama white sauce, my choice) and potato salad during a lunch trip to Big Baby Q. The brisket was moist and tender with a nice smoke flavor (not overpowering) and ring. If you've been to Sugarfire -I typically go 2x a month and usually get the brisket- I would happily compare this brisket to theirs. Absolutely amazing! Perfectly smoked! The coffee bbq sauce is delicious!
I haven't even taken a bite yet butt I already know it's going to be good. You can tell a lot about a restaurant based on the people that work there and the atmosphere. And it smells pretty good too. Not to mention some little old lady drove through the front window because she wanted some of that brisket so bad!
Get the loaded baked potato. Thank me later. Smokey, tender meats with the perfect rub and sauce on the side. Perfection.
Great food, clean place and staff that is worth talking to. You may think you have had good BBQ before, let this place change your mind.
It's been hours since we ate here and I'm still waddling around with a full tummy! Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. My boyfriend got pastrami with macaroni and cheese and baked beans. I got pulled pork with the house pickles and macaroni and cheese. The meats were both perfectly seasoned. The macaroni was creamy, cheesy and everything you want out of mac and cheese. Best pastrami in town. If you like beef brisket you will love their pastrami with white sauce. This is probably the best I've ate in my life. And they give you a sample to try before you buy. These are a great bunch of guys I enjoy coming here so much for the great service, great people and great food!
Amazing bbq and love that it's right down the street! Everyone is super nice and love the friendly vibe that you get as soon as you walk in. Will definitely be coming back!!!
This is a hidden gem in Maryland Heights. Small but mighty good barbecue.
