I went here as I was referred by by doctor to have a x-ray on both of my hips. My appointment was for 10.55am which I arrived earlier as instructed. The waiting room was absolutely beautiful, lovely and new with a television on the wall to watch. I didn't have to wait long to be called by a nurse called Kim. I was kindly asked to remove my leggings and keep everything else on thank god!! The whole procedure took less than 10 minutes. All staff members were friendly and made you feel at ease. From a womans point of view its intimidating to be in a sort of portable simulator van with tiny cupboards as rooms and be the only female there for the ct scans - I believe there is a female nurse in the mri van. It may be a way to clear nhs waiting lists but the experience is grim. If you have an appointment on a weekend you just dont know whether to wait in carpark or hover outside the aforementioned van. Once inside its pot luck as to whether you will get scanned as if they cant find a vein you could be jabbed anywhere i... read more
I wanted to share my positive experience because the bad reviews here scared me into almost not wanting to go. I am very grateful my experience was completely positive. I couldn't have felt more comfortable and cared for. The lady who did my scan was amazing, kind, gentle, softly spoken. They allowed my boyfriend to be with me. The room was perfect, clean, spacious and I would gladly go back.
