RecommendedI strolled in for brunch because I was in the neighborhood...never heard of the place. Place is as eclectic as the food was delicious. And if you have a chance, sit at the counter and watch the chefs take pride in what they cook up. Pros at work. Its a sure sign of how good the food will be once it gets to you :)
I stopped into Bette’s, because I knew they made homemade scrapple and I hadn’t tasted it yet. When I broke off a piece and tasted it a flood of memories and feelings came over me. I immediately decided to make a scrapple sandwich 🥪 with the leftover and smothered it with their homemade jam. It reminded me so much of eating scrapple sandwiches in my Grandmother’s house when I was growing up. It was nice to find a little of my childhood here in Cali.
RecommendedIt's super busy and we always have to wait for a table. But it's definitely worth the wait! I highly recommend it. I'd you haven't been there, you need to go. Food, atmosphere, and service are all spot on.
