The name's a bit misleading. Not only is there no ocean view, but this is not your ordinary diner. Though it has streamlined aluminum and black-and-white tile, and the fare is inspired by diner cuisine, the ingredients are the freshest available and the dishes are prepared with care and imagination. RecommendedGreat brunch. The pancake was huge. Definitely something to share.
Very busy place, an old fashioned diner with delicious food. Worth the wait.
Recommendation? Are you kidding? I’ve been eating here for over 30 years with the ex-wife and current wife. This place never fails me. Two rules: get here early and expect to wait but it’s worth it.

Great place for breakfast. Saw someone carrying coffee home when I walked to the apple store. He recommended this place, and I can only agree. For all continental Europeans - this isn’t toast and scrambled eggs as we know it - breakfast is a full meal and will carry you to the afternoon easily. 3 sets of tennis, or a round of golf (carrying your bag and walking!). Excellent coffee, super nice staff.
The food and friendly atmosphere are wonderful! You always feel welcome at Bette’s!
I have wanted to eat at Bette's diner for years. Food was great and service even better. Lived up to the hype. Thank goodness we got there early 7am) because this place was jamming.

Good selection. I ordered the Mexican omelette and my husband had the pancake soufflé. Both were delicious.
