Sat 1/30/16 about 3:30 did triage then 1. EKG my partner came in room the tech gave a 3-4 minute reprimand about him leaving the room. 2. The RN stabbed my arm over & over getting the IV into my arm 3. The same Male RN (very sloppy) brings my pils in his hand w/out gloves or a container 4. As soon as my fever broke it was time to go. One dr asked if I was ready to go at 1:20 AM. I'm very peeved by how I was treated this visit.
Thank you for firing that cretinous creature Paul Church. No one deserves to be treated by such utterly ignorant and misinformed physician. Good job!
It is unfortunate that this institution puts blind political correctness ahead of sound medical and health practices.
My mom had surgery on her brain eary December. We were so nervous but after meeting the Neurosurgeons Dr. Thomas and Dr. P and there team we felt much better. My mom had a great experience and would recommend BID to any of her friends and family. The recovery nurses were very nice as well as floor 11 team nurses and aides. Thank you to all who took care of her. She is recovering well.
12/15/15 was a great day! Our experience with BIDMC's labor and delivery nurses and doctors was absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough about the professionalism, patience, knowledge, compassion and kindness demonstrated by all the nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist and support staff. Even with the shift changes everyone was involved, followed the plan of care, maintained the continuity of care and we had a healthy baby girl. We are a large family; we were made to feel welcomed and allowed to share in the entire experience. ... read more
I'd like to recommend that you have a talk with your employees about professionalism and, in the case of nurses, bedside manner. Even on holidays, even when it's later in the day, even when they want to chat with their friends or whatnot. Nobody comes to get medical tests because it's a nice way to spend an afternoon. People are usually at the hospital because something's gone wrong so they're already upset, possibly on edge, and usually worried. Having employees who are not engaged in their work doesn't foster in patients a... read more
Dr Leffler & Melinda Dennis @ the Celiac Center are simply amazing. With all the health problems i have had in the last decade they have been there with me every step of the way, showing a sincere concern for what I'm going through and doing everything they can to get my GI back to "normal." Celiac is so misunderstood by the majoriy of the medical community its critical (and a blessing!) to be in the care of experts in this area. Dr Lee @ the Pain Center is by far the best pain md I have worked with. He is always trying new ... read more
