Had surgery at Beth Israel on Friday may 13th 2016 and everyone was great from the nurses in the pre operation area to the anesthesia doctors to the staff and surgeon in the or would definitely recommend surgery here .
The parking rates for family of the patient is atrocious. Where is the humanity or is it just GREED! Even after the ticket being validated you pay $18 per day. Perhaps, Beth Israel could provide ONE pass (one car) per family. This is a huge financial burden on the family of a patient who has to be in the hospital weeks at a time. On the other hand, the patient care is good.
They are dirty hospital who gave me a staff infection and then neglected me as a patient. I used to get decent care but I have now been in pain for months. I can't get my doctor to respond to me!
Had my first son here 3years ago and was wonderful. Now 3 years later our 2nd son was born here, its even better. The wonderful doctors and especially the nurses on 6th floor are the best. Blessed to have these kind of professionals as our doctors and nurses.
I had the best care from 2005-Fall 2014. The transplant department was unrecognizable when I returned in 2014.
Very attentive staff made me comfortable n well taken care of would come back here if I needed to but I hope I don't have to
Just went for my second appt at One Brookline Place for radio frequency treatment - the 1st appointment I had to reschedule as I got caught in ridiculous traffic. I called to let them know I would be late and they said I may or may not be seen so I rescheduled. The 2nd appt on 3/8 I left much earlier to combat the traffic but again with construction etc I arrived at 9:00 for an 8:50 appt and Dr Moran refused to see me as I was late. My grandmother was in ER last night from 5pm-2am!! Not taken care during that time. She is a severe diabetic and they never fed her, gave her drinks, or let her use a bathroom.they never gave her insulin or medication. This is elder abuse !! No excuse for this!!!!! No matter how busy it was no excuse at all... Never heard of such a thing.
My husband had a horrible experience here 1yr ago. We went looking for answers concerning his gastrointestional pain and was told they could not find anything and he has had a million dollar work up (had been to other hospitals and drs for a year) they told him there was nothing they could do for him . After making a "comment "about his life a comment any sane person makes after sick of being sick and no answers from medical professionals..was put in psychiatric ward.
