Surgery at BIDMC improved the quality of my life a million percent. On behalf of my entire family I must say our experience at Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center was absolutely amazing. My Mom Linda would not be alive today if weren't for Dr Jennifer Stevens and her capable team! They are personable, patient and genuine with their care. I gave birth here in 2010. The nurses in the delivery/maternity ward were all great, very accomodating, caring, empathic. They helped me through the whole process with sincerity and passion for what they do. Their quick judgements and critical thinking saved me from complications of child birth. The moment i stepped in at BIDMC, i knew i was in good hands. Thank you to the whole staff.
They prevent you from being seen in other urgent care facilities ! Who are you to make that call!!! I will be leaving Beth Isreal Monday!!
From the moment my sister showed up to Farr 5 she felt very welcomed and cared for. That continued through until the last 24 hrs in which I feel that a couple of nurses made her feel not as welcome and they didn't really go over her discharge papers with her when she asked questions she was told to just read her instructions and the nurse left the room and the PCT took her out to the car for discharge. Great staff, great nurses and doctors. Dr. Thomas had saved my mom's life by fixing hemorrhaging in the brain and several brain aneurysms. The ICU staff was amazing.
My mom was there today for a vascular surgery. From the moment we set foot in the door we experienced nothing but friendly, professional and exemplary care from every member of your staff. From the speedy and efficient check in on the first floor, the great staff in the pre op area and waiting room, the amazing Dr. Hamden and great anesthesiologist who got the IV in with no problems (that's been an issue for my mom in the past in other places), to the post op RN's and staff.
