Yes I went and saw my cardiologist came back with a clear bill of health. He was very glad that I'm wearing a Fitbit. I let him look at my stats on my iPhone he was glad that I was walking 18 to 25 miles week as a 70-year-old. Told me to keep up the good work. Then said "I'll see you in a year."
Excellent service from the front desk to the technicians to the Doctor. They made my experience very comfortable.
My only problem with BID is that some of the specialists make their diagnosis before the tests results are in. This has happened with both my wife and me. These specialists are noticeable by treating their patients and caregivers in a dismissive pattern BID is a great hospital and the staff, for the most part are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, taking care of their patients and caregivers in an excellent manner. As with everything, a few bad apples .....
BIDMC continues to provide amazing, personalized, professional care to its patients who are facing medical challenges. My husband just had his first treatment at the Infusion/Pheresis Unit. Everyone treated both of us with kindness and genuine concern for our well-being. Thank you, BIDMC for making this difficult journey a little less challenging.

My wife has complex cardio-pulmonary problems that are not well understood. When the two departments at our local (excellent) suburban hospital couldn't agree on a solid plan for diagnosing and treating them, they referred us to BIDMC. The hospital has done an excellent job of alleviating the worst immediate symptoms, managing the rest and working through a series of systematic diagnostic procedures that have significantly narrowed down the issues, causes and treatment options. As always, the folks who work at all levels of care and service were warm, welcoming, reassuring and professional. I always feel so very well cared for when I make my check-ups. It's the smallest big-hospital I've ever received care at. Thank you all ever so much.
OR personnel dropped ball after recent surgery. Days go by without them letting anybody know what is going on. It's like they disappear.
