My husband has has 3 surgeries since 2015, by the same thoracic team. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have had the eminently skilled Drs. Magid and Gangadharan by his side. The follow up care from recovery to ICU to the hospital room has been outstanding. Whether physician, nurse, housekeeper or dietary, the excellence of care is outstanding.
The best hospital experience I’ve ever had and I would recommend this hospital to anyone considering them. They’re professional, caring, attentive, and made me feel valued. Thanks to everyone that helped me.

Why is it that providers at BIDMC routinely rely on those disgraceful mechanized contraptions to take and follow BP readings w/ patient care? Every time I have seen a doctor here or elsewhere, one of those automated contrivances is used and the reading is always 30% plus off from a manual BP reading taken the old fashioned way.
