This was the first time I have ever heard of shaving a patient's beard because he vomited. Would you shave your head if you got vomit in your hair? I think not. I think you would use soap and water. The ER is a disaster. After waiting 2 hours for the nurse to come in and introduce herself I went to the desk. Finally, after complaining, the nurse came in and had the wrong name for my husband. REALLY
The team at Beth Israel saved my father’s life. My father had an abdominal aortic aneurysm that ruptured where he had to be transferred from BI in Plymouth with a helicopter to Boston. A team of people were waiting for him and told us that it was a very difficult and complicated surgery. We are forever indebted to the surgeons, doctors and nurses there. Thank you 🙏 💜
