BIDMC Patient Relations Department does not resolve problems just creates frustration. Their inability to provide effective communication and support are inexcusable. Should not be named Patient Relations!
Best Neurosurgery! Dr Ogilvy and his team are phenomenal. Professional and Personable, something you never see. Dr Ogilvy has no problem picking up a phone and calling you personally to let you know what's going to go on with your care. I have never met another Dr like him, and the fact he does brain surgery makes him a super hero in my eyes
Lucky we don't file a lawsuit against them for wrongful death! Inept ICU nurse removed my dad's feeding tube 10 minutes after the doctor told us and HIM it needed to stay in for a few more WEEKS! Outrageous! They transferred him out the door soon after, to rehab, where he lasted less than 24 hours before back in the hospital where he later DIED. Can you say incompetence?
(EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT) Front desk guy is SO RUDE. This is an EMERGENCY room where people come in worried about their family members and he seemed like he doesn’t even care about anything. FYI I’m was here on 8/4/2019 around noon-1:30pm.
Nice team of Doctors there
Dr. Kate Esselyn and Dr. Nicholas Tawa were both amazing doctors and surgeons. They were both professional, kind and courteous, knowledgeable and most of all made me feel comfortable and taken care of from start to finish. The staff and nurses at BI after my surgery also went above and beyond. Everyday they made me feel like an individual and not a number. I am more than pleased with this hospital and would recommend my team!!
outstanding nicu care! took great care of my baby boy born 28+2. 81 days later home and healthy. i can not thank the nicu staff enough. everyone was wonderful
