I was surprised! After reading some of the positive reviews, I was sure this was the place to stay, but due to a reservation here there was a lot things to do here. What a nice discovery! Pleasant, tree-lined neighborhood, very friendly staff, but more importantly it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. What more can you ask for? It is clearly well run.

Good modest hotel I found everything clean and in good repair. No bugs or any such thing in my room. The room was overlooking 4th Avenue, yet quiet. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, and a good selection was offered. The location was wonderful for me, as I was able to get to both Manhattan and other areas of Brooklyn quite quickly. Admittedly, I am not a fan of the "luxury" type of hotel, and appreciate a clean, quiet, and modest hotel that offers good value for the money paid.

We would definitely stay again. My husband and I stayed at The Gregory because it was less than 10 minutes from our daughter. We arrived late at 10pm. The valet service was right there to take our car and carry our bags. The front desk personnel was very friendly and accomodating! They even called our room 20 minutes later to inquire if we needed anything and to invite us down to their lounge for a night cap. Will be back The hotel has been there for a long time but when we walked inside we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the lobby looked. It was clean and the front desk folks were very helpful and friendly.
Wonderful Stay, Always! We stay at the Gregory in Brooklyn a few times a year, and always have a wonderful stay, never fails. Everyone is so courteous, and helpful. Thank you for everything.
