Great place to rest your head! Sadly, the reason for our stay was to attend a family funeral, and this was the closest hotel. We were very pleased with the hotel (just six blocks from the funeral home and nine from the church). It was a nice neighborhood. When we checked in, Carmen was very helpful, and gave us a recommendation for dinner (which was excellent) for after calling hours. Wonderful! I made my reservation on Expedia and followed up with a phone call to advise the front desk that I would be arriving late. The staff was excellent!!!! I asked how to get to the hotel from JFK and I received not only excellent instructions but guidance as to where to get the cab and where to not go for a cab. Wonderful!
Good location Located right on the R train stop and close to buses. If you're there for Bay Ridge event it's great (and seems to be the only Bay Ridge hotel). Staff was great and helpful. And there is breakfast and a hotel bar.
Recommended for business and leisure This hotel has apparently seen better days, but the price-performance ratio is good, the service friendly, and the location convenient. Recommended for business & leisure in the Bay Ridge area.
Clean, friendly hotel. We were in town for a difficult mission, but we always happy at the end of the day to return to a clean, friendly hotel. The evening staff were particularly nice. The morning breakfast was good: some days hard-boiled eggs, always toast, coffee, muffins, pastry, bagels, cereals and fresh fruit. The room was quiet and the beds comfortable...what more can you ask.
Great location and value. It is close to the train and bus lines. There are plenty of shops around for dining, shopping, etc. It is the only hotel in that part of Brooklyn and completely worth it.

We would definitely stay again. My husband and I stayed at The Gregory because it was less than 10 minutes from our daughter. We arrived late at 10pm. The valet service was right there to take our car and carry our bags. The front desk personnel was very friendly and accomodating! They even called our room 20 minutes later to inquire if we needed anything and to invite us down to their lounge for a night cap.
