I had an appointment in the store yesterday for my 8 plus. I've had it about a week and its been nothing but problems. Apple said Best Buy was certified so I made an appointment hoping to get it repaired. Of course the phone behaved perfectly and all tests came back normal. the tech, who was very polite and professional, recommended bringing the phone in if it malfunctioned again so they could test it while it was freaking out. Thanks to Greg for getting me in and out of the store in about 10 minutes, with exactly the laptop I wanted, at lower than the price I was expecting to pay, and making it fun and easy to understand, rather than scary, like my low-tech brain feared it would be!

Watch out for these people. I was trying to make a purchase and they raised the price before I could check out. Very dishonest.

I had a terrible experience yesterday. I took my ipad that appeared to have a bad battery,(wouldn't hold a charge for very long). The Geek Squad checked it out and said it was a bad battery. I asked how much it would cost for a new one and I was told it would be $350. since they have to send it to Apple. He thought it would be better for me to just buy a new one. The young lady that did offer to help, had to continually excuess herself to go and ask or call for help. Either a new hire, or I caught her out of her department. Those she reached out to did not seem very willing to help. This was confirmed when a older gentleman passed by us in no apparent rush but no intrest in stoping when again the young lady tried asking for help in finding a solution to my project. An hour later I left with a web cam and usb extension.

Was told it would take three months to replace a Phone 6 Plus battery at the Erie story. Ridiculous answer. They obviously don't want to do it. And guess what, they will no longer get my business for anything. With that smart azz answer you just lost a good customer.

Bought a Samsung note 8 that was suppose to come with a stylus pen. When I got home the pen wasn't in the bag. Called store and after waiting on hold for 10 mins they told me there isn't anything that they can do about it.

I will never shop at best buy again!! I purchased a tv on Thanksgiving and a week later I turned on the tv and saw lines on it. I took it back and they said it was my fault. No physical damage was ever done. No scratches, dents nothing! No exchange or refund!
