I paid him $1,500 upfront and all he did was write a letter to the D.A. (which I am glad he didn't press any charges because my arrest was should have never happened) and supposedly went to court on my behalf to make sure everything went accordingly, and finally filed my expungement 2-3 months late after I emailed him because he hadn't filed it yet (if he would have told me that if the case was dismissed I could file for expungement for nothing I would have filed myself making sure it was done asap). $1,500 for a letter, a s... read more

Read great reviews about Mr. McEvoy so made the decision to hire him for my case. This was my first time ever having being arrested or experiencing anything having to do with the law. Mr. McEvoy is an "A list" attorney. He took a situation where I had spoken prematurely to law enforcement, which could have been detrimental, and I received the minimum amount of probation I could have received. (1 year) He is worth every dollar spent. He is patient, never seems uncomfortable, always in control. I am not a criminal. I made a mistake.
