I am appalled that BG hosted Pippa Holt, who exploits Mayan women weavers, who get $40 for a months work, and sells their exquisite huipols (not KAFTANS, FCOL) for over $700. The recent Vogue article quotes her as saying, "I have taken a raw, artisanal product and made it more modern...." by what, adding some length and gladiator sandals? The writer also claims Pippa is "elevating" a centuries, if not millennia old craft by adding accessories. Sent an item back for a return 2 weeks ago, just checked with customer service, and the rep had no way of giving me an update on my return, she told me that it can take an additional few weeks to process. Shipped it through USPS and tracking info says "Delivered to Returns Agent" yet no update can be given to me? Ridiculous that in 2017 it can take over a month to get a refund for an online order. I will be filing a dispute with PayPal and my credit card company.
