I chose Dr. Berg as he was listed in my provider book. He has the personality of door knob, doesn't communicate, disappears without telling you what is next. Each time I left I was gien anti biotics and pain med prescriptions without explaining why. he is rough, drills like a construction worker busting cement. I saw him for a root canal and 6 visits later including a retreat I am still in pain with only an answer of "I don't know what else to tell you" I am in the process of demanding a refund as I have found a dr. who is f... read more

I was very nervous before my root canal and the treatment was painless and comfortable . I would reccommend Dr. Berg to everyone.

I expected Dr. Berg to be a cold, heartless ass after seeing many reviews....He is FABULOUS!! He is blunt, telling you what you may experience instead of sugar coating everything leading you to believed that all will be rainbows and unicorns. I appreciate someone who puts it out there, rather than coddling you, then things get real and you dont expect it. I had a root canal, my first. I have a phobia of dentists, a fear beyond all others. Dr. Berg did my root canal and it was very quick. He used plenty of novicaine and gave me a little more , as a booster, right before he started. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do and was very quick. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I highly reccomend him.

Worst dentist/endodontist on the planet! Dr Berg was cruel to me as a patient! He rushed through my procedure! I went in for a root canal and i was in horrible pain! Tears running down my face because he kept hitting a nerve. Refused to give me more numbing medicine. Stopped my procedure half way through and told me to find another dentist! He said I had low pain tolerance! I begged him to finish, and he refused! He walked out of the exam room! Biggest nightmare ever! Please do not go to this man! I was referred to Dr. Berg to determine if I needed a root canal. I did not elect to have him treat me because of my horrific first time impression during "consultation" if you could even call it that. He spent very little time with me, was impatient with my questions, very unfriendly and not reassuring in the least. I went in for a root canal because my insurance covered 90%. They immediately x-rayed me even though I had brought 2 x-rays from my dentist. Then Dr. Berg came in and immediately started working on my mouth - no explanation, introduction or any courtesy. I told him I did not require a lot of numbing.....He said I should go to another doctor, wrote a prescription for pain killers and walked away. Every visit was worse. Work was never completed correctly. He was inefficient and rude. He called one patient a "bitch and get out of his office" when she had the so called "nerve to ask questions". Obviously the were ligitimate questions. I heard this while waiting in my chair. He came to me next and said to his assistant "no woman will ever talk to me that way". I was shocked. I was referred to Dr. Berg for a root canal of a wisdom tooth based on xrays & pain. Dr. Berg did a more careful examination of my teeth and determined that I was referred for the wrong tooth and that I did not need a root canal afterall, as the pain was simply from irritation of a nerve root in the 1st molar that had a large filling and there was no new decay.
