I have had to visit with Dr. Rodriguez many times for knee issues. He is always pleasant and very informative. I love that he provides choices in how we proceed, of course, with his best suggestion offered. His staff is also amazing.

I recently saw Dr. Smith for cortisone shots in both knees to help with my arthritis. However he gave me realistic advice in such a kind manner letting me know the shots wouldn’t help and I needed knee replacement surgery instead, which is scary to consider. He went over every detail for before, during and the recovery process and answered all my questions and concerns in a way that left me feeling hopeful and optimistic and assured. I would rate his knowledge of his speciality at the top. Polite and sincere, does not rush. This time I had to wait 1-1/2 hr before seeing him, 1:15 hr behind schedule. I brought this to his attention and asked him to better manage his appointments, as patients time is also very valuable. The reason I deducted 1star.
I’m in such pain after my recent knee injections. When I get my injections I feel soooo great and look forward to them, but this time I got my shots and it was like nothing happened. When I complained, Dr Smith said my arthritis had worsened. Not true! I had just been X-rayed and the tech said my knees had not worsened during the past year. Dr Smith only saw me once years ago. Dr. Rodriguez was cautious in trying my treatment before ordering an mri. I appreciate this since my cost after insurance is about 700.00 for the mri. However, if needed, I felt reassured that we can have this option later.

Dr Scott Smith is very fast & professional.He took my concerns seriously.He went right to the point to diagnose my right knee from MRI.He explained about the shots & long term benefits about the knee replacement..He & his staff were friendly.Jerry Lopaz(PA)is very friendly too.I feel very comfortable having Dr Scott Smith as my Surgeon!!!
