I had a beach accident with injury in Florida resulting in fractures of hip and pelvis. Dr. McArthur reviewed Xrays and provided a plan for healing. Staff was happy and encouraging even resetting my crutches for proper height.
He listened when a different doctor did not. He also took the time to explain everything. Most importantly, though, he listened.
I like Dr. McArthur. I find him to be honest in his assessments. I trust him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes a slower approach to treatments than other doctors. I like this approach. No sense in recommending surgery when an injection will do the trick. He also takes the time necessary to explain his assessments so that you fully understand his diagnosis. Dr. McArthur has a great personality which helps when the patient is experiencing a lot of pain.
Third orthopedist I’ve been to. Sticking with Dr McArthur hands down. He was on time, listened to me & clearly explained his plan for treatment of broken ankle.
Dr. McArthur has helped me in managing my post polio problems. He is very understanding and is always ready to use alternative Methods to surgery

Dr. McArthur treated my 71 year old for a broken wrist. Both Dr. McArthur and his assistant Mike Perez treated my mom with great care. At every visit both Dr. McArthur and Mike displayed concern for my mom and her recovery. She recently had her cast removed and did not require surgery. We are extremely grateful for their care, time and concern for us! If we had to return we would highly recommend Dr. McArthur and Mike.
Dr. McArthur is treating my 96 year old mom’s hip and shoulder. Surgery is not an option, but he was able to get injections in just the right to give her relief in her hip. (Others have failed). He also got an infection in her shoulder under control. He is cautious, meticulous, and skilled. I’m also touched by his compassion. When Mom is in pain, he’ll look at her and say: “I’m sorry”. He has done alot to improve her quality of life!
Hip replacement was an absolute success. Compassionate, highly skilled surgeon, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
