Was not able to tolerate excruciating pain of injection in back from Dr. Torres. Doctor walked out of the room after asking if I wanted him to stop or continue. I said stop! His assistants helped me to the door. He clearly never considered that the numbing shots were not sufficient or I had another issue with the place of the injection. He left me wondering if he made an error in sticking the needle in my back, but didn't care enough for me, the patient to find out the problem. I have visited many pain practice offices, and they all seem to have the same approach - prescribing medication. However, I need my pain to go away permanently, not just while the medication is in my system. Dr. Torres was different in that he listened to me, reviewed my imaging, and made recommendations. I love Dr. Torres and his whole staff is just great! I was referred to Dr. Torres because my surgeon is in Sarasota - a very far drive for me. Dr. Torres did an injection that my surgeon wanted and it all went wonderfully. He worked me so quickly that I saw him the day after my surgeon called, got the injection the next day and Dr. Torres called this evening to see how I was and said he would get everything to my surgeon ASAP! What service!
My experience with Dr. Torres has been a very positive one. He has worked diligently in providing answers and solutions to my unbearable pain. I am so grateful his care and concern and would highly recommend him to anyone.
I was given an appointment as a new patient the next day after requesting one. After arriving, the nurse collected all pertinent information, taking time to address every question I asked her. Then Dr. Torres came in and was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It was then determined that my out of state insurance was not accepted after all. Dr. Torres has always treated me with dignity and respect. He listens and educates his patients on all treatment options.
Former patient. One of his 1st patients & was referred to him by 1 of his peers. Worst Dr. ever. Caused my pain to get worse, got mad bc I went to ob/ gyn. Bad attitude of whole office. Long waits. Doesn't follow up on conditions. Don't question his methods or treatments. Even patient portal was wrong. Vets for animals are more empathetic to severe pain & follow up. No bedside manner at all. 1st & last D.O. I've ever had. Just in it for the money.
there's just Dr Torres and 5 young ladies that he calls "girls". saw him 3 times Sept 2018. He gave injections in my neck (Which didn't work) and when i asked could I have my pain prescription at same visit he said "no I'm entitled to have you come back for another co-pay." He and his entire office have no empathy. He fired me for asking his girls to please read my chart instead of answering all the questions again that I'd answered in triplicate 4 days before. Cruel and malicious creep
He flat out does not care about his patients because they won’t stay his patients long anywaY
