First the good...Beautiful old hotel... Newly renovated, and the bartenders and front desk staff (especially Kelly, Jeremiah and Trevor) were amazing!! Great, personable service by the staff. Wonderful food and drink in the bar, and great water pressure in the showers. Now the bad... That being said, the room was awkward.. Two rooms with only one tv, no dressers and a VERY small closet.. Had the best time the lobby reception was so sweet and had lots of amazing information about the history of the hotel. Just the vintage style was awesome. The best sleep I've had in along time. Absolutely going back �

This is a classic looking hotel right in the heart of beautiful, Ogden, UT. Now, there was some construction going on at the time, but that did not take away too much from the look of the beautiful lobby to the classic style of the hotel room. Probably the best selling point of the Ben Lomond Suites is its location. There is so much to do in just walking distance of the hotel. The lobby is torn up, but they should really be spending that time and money fixing the elevators. They are notoriously slow, but during our stay, one was out of order and the other stopped on every floor. It took ten minutes to get from the 6th floor to the lobby. I wish I were kidding. Then, to top it off the front desk person couldn't figure out how to check us out. I wouldn't stay here again.
Stumbled onto what used to be a gem of a hotel a few years ago. I loved the retro vibe and the big band classics playing in the halls. My daughter and I have made it a Mother's Day tradition to stay here. She loved the jetted tub and I loved the cool, old energy the hotel had. The new owners have killed the spirit of this place.
