Water line broke between house and barn at a joint on a Sunday, of course. Ben Franklin sent someone here within 3 hrs from an hour away. Guy found the leak,fixed it and gone within an hour. No problems again and reasonable. Certainly will keep them as my plumbers

Benjamin, the person who did the work, was wonderful! He was very careful connecting my stove so that there was no cross threading which would allow a gas leak. However, I was not happy with the fact that another serviceman was supposed to be here between 10 and 11a.m. and never called to say he could not make it because of another job. However, he did get Benjamin to do it at 5:00, so things finally worked out. I hated wasting my day waiting!!!
Right out of the box......I was told on the phone that there was never a service charge for a tech to show up and assess the repair. The guy showed up (the reason for any ratings star), came into the garage, and the very 1st thing the tech said was something about the $150 service charge. Then he tapped the side of the water tank with his knuckles, and declared "oh, this is bad". That was the sum total of his troubleshooting. He then floated a $1600 price to "repair) the water heater. I'm moving and wanted to disconnect the gas line from my Wolf range myself. I was able to turn the nut on the corrugated gas line but the gas line kept turning and twisting with the nut. Didn't want to damage anything so I called HomeAdvisor and was recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Mt. Pleasant. The service person, Rusty, got here in no time, saw the problem, and after three tries he was able to untighten the bolts and disconnect the line. Arrived on time. Assessed the problem, presented the options and accomplished the work quickly. .They were courteous and professional.
We are very pleased with the service. Benjamin Franklin walked us through each step of the project. They brought everything up to code and did a very neat job. Our water heater was in a difficult location and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner.
